The New Disneytopia: A Conclusion

Image
And there you have it, folks. That's the newest and greatest draft of my dream Disney resort. For those of you who have read this, what do you think? What is the best park? What other things do you like? Tell me in the comments below.

Transportation in Disneytopia

Image
Let's talk about how to get around. Guests will always find bus stops at their hotels, where busses can take them to the parks. However, some can travel a different way: Monorails: The Dream Kingdom and its hotels are connected via monorail. Another monorail connects to the Nautical Kingdom and its hotels, and both monorails can meet at a station.  Skyliner: There is also a skyliner ride that can take guests to Cinematic Kingdom, Wavy Island, and their hotels. Although it stops in the Disney Central area, it does not go there. Boats: Boats go from Disney Central to its nearby hotels.

Wavy Island

Image
Come to this tropical hideaway off the coast of Mexico. This water park takes inspiration from many real-life beach resorts in that area,  In addition, it has a touch of Disney magic, thus making it the ultimate water theme park experience. This park is split into four "villages." When entering the park, the first one guests come into is the Beach Village. With straw buildings and other touches, they will feel like they're in Cancun. In the park's only Spanish-style building, guests will find help and services at La Hacienda. Nearby is the restaurant Costa Ora Cantina and the gift shops Wavy Island Traders and Iconos de Mexico. Up ahead at the base of the mountain, guests will find the Wavy Bay wave pool. Guests can also find a children's play area called Shipwreck Shoals. Going around the park and stopping in the Jungle and River villages is El Rio Tranquilo, a lazy river. Additionally, guests will find the Mexican Art Gallery here. Going to the left, guests en...

Welcome to the shopping, dining, and entertainment district of the resort, Disney Central. This is Disneytopia's counterpart to Downtown Disney in California and Disney Springs in Florida. In three sections, guests can find a wide array of experiences. The first area guests enter into is the West Side. Here, guests will find two restaurants when they first enter: Earl of Sandwich and Eileen's Ice Cream. Also nearby is Splitville Luxury Lanes, where guests can go bowling. On the left is water while more can be found on the right, including Disney's 12 Days of Christmas, McCool's Irish Pub, Build-a-Bear Workshop, Gem and Jane's Jewelry, Tech Wizz, and Goofy's Candy Co. In a large building is where guests can take part in a new experience, Disney's Escape, a next-generation escape room experience similar to Universal's Great Movie Escape. Guests can explore this land and discover the kingdom's many wonders, and perhaps they will see a familiar face or two. When they first enter the land through an icy spire with the phrase "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" underneath it, guests come into a forest region. Here, they can see Elsa's ice palace atop the North Mountain. Going through the forest is Kristoff and Sven's Mountain Sleighs, a family coaster. The ride exits into Wandering Oaken's, which is inspired by the trading post seen in the film. Guests can also go into the palace and eat at Elsa's Dining Hall, where princesses dine with the guests. On the left is Mickey's of Hollywood, the largest store in the park. Going down the street, guests can find Oswald's Cafe and Alice's Emporium on the left and Disney Bros. Cinematic Kingdom

Image
The third gate of the Disneytopia resort is its most immersive park yet. Themed to the world of movies, Cinematic Kingdom is a studio park with five incredible lands. This includes a studio section, Hollywood Gardens, and four immersive worlds branching off of that. Here are the five areas: Hollywood Gardens Worlds of Pixar Kingdom of Arendelle Pandora: The World of Avatar Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge These areas will be gone over in later posts. Out of all the parks, this was the most challenging one to develop. I went through many ideas before landing on the movie realms idea. The layout would be similar to Universal's Epic Universe park, and it would be built on a similar scale to that. However, the results I have gotten from this park are exciting and innovative, and I truly believe this could live up to its inspiration.
