Nautical Kingdom: Ancient Delta

In the back of the park lies a set of ancient ruins in the Egyptian desert. Here, guests embark on many perilous adventures on a 1930's expedition site, and who knows? They might see a certain fan-favorite explorer along the way.

When entering from Mermaid Lagoon, guests walk into a mysterious ruin area. Large piles of sand try to make it feel like they're in the desert. Going to the right, guests see a large Egyptian pyramid, which houses Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Golden Mask. This version of the ride features extended scenes as well as an Ancient Egyptian theme. The ride exits into Adventure Outpost, a nearby gift shop. Also nearby is the Ancient Delta station for the Nautical Kingdom Steamer Line, which takes guests to African Port. Expedition Eats is a nearby snack stand. Also in the area is The Dig Site, where guests dig for ancient artifacts, as well as the thrilling coaster, Wrath of Horus, which takes place around Egyptian ruins, featuring tight dives, a loop, and gaining speed.

Going to the left, guests are immersed in the streets of 1930s Cario. Here, guests can shop at Desert Moon Bazaar or eat at Sallah's Oasis. In the back of the area is Hangar Bay Cargo, another gift shop, as well as Raging Sands: Indiana Jones' Stunt Spectacular. This indoor show features deadly stunts, astounding effects, and maybe some audience participation (don't worry, we won't have them do anything too crazy.)

This was an interesting area to make. For a while, I was wanting an Ancient Egyptian area, and I felt like Indiana Jones would make a great fit there. It's a bit more of a step up in thrills after the previous areas I've done here. Plus, it's always interesting to take an existing IP and place it somewhere it hasn't been seen in parks before.
